  Falk was born in Sedo, the second and last child of his parents. His mother, a pegasus, was native to the desert, but his father was a merchant from the faraway caves of Sirith. He would take trips there every few months to sell and trade his wares-- occasionally, he would let Falk and his older sister Usoa come with him. Falk's mother was not as fond of travel, but she would come with them at least once a year. Falk greatly anticipated these trips, as the underground cities that glistened and gleamed with gemstones and elaborate structures fascinated the colt. He worked as a caregiver once he was old enough, but hoped to one day become a heavy hoof. This was until Usoa, barely an adult, left them to travel. Her parents expressed disapproval of the idea when she had presented it before, so she fled one night without leaving a trace. They waited months for her to return, but eventually came to accept that she had made her decision and was not coming back.
Falk and his parents then moved to Sirith, where his father could find better business and his mother's wings brought her attention. They were scrutinized as outsiders originally, but his father's connections and familiarity with the herd let them blend in rather soon. Already accustomed to assisting others, Falk joined The Watch, starting off with menial tasks, but hoping to one day to become a well-respected guard to the royal family. He learned more about Argus, and started to travel to his shrine in addition to Alya's.
  One day when Falk traveled to the shrine of Argus, he saw a beautiful cremello tobiano mare around his age kneeling and praying. He hesitantly approached her and kneeled next to her. She glanced over at him and smiled, and he knew he needed to get to know her. The magi named Owena was sweet and kind and passionate and it wasn't long before the two horses were spending all their free time together. With the begrudging approval of Owena's parents, Falk married her less than two years later.
Falk wanted to wait a while to have children, but Owena was adamant. They were both delighted when they found out she was pregnant, but this pregnancy ended in despair when their son was born all-white and died a few days later. Both parents were devastated and weren't going to have any more kids until two years later during the Day of the Wisps when Owena received what she believed to be a sign from Argus. A little less than a year later, Margaret was born.
Now that their daughter is an adult and mostly independent, Falk spends more time performing his duties, which usually entail some sort of guarding, escorting, or tutoring. He also does his fair bit of relaxing and greatly enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
