Alright, I just posted a photo about lighting here: [link] , where I explained a lighting tip. I thought I'd reexplain it and also show an example!

So here, look at the lighting, its relativity the same for both photo, the majority of the light coming from the side. (our right). So why does one doll POP more than the other? Look at the background. With the simple light source being bounced back onto the background in the other direction (the photo on the left) it really makes the doll pop and be the focus of the photo for a nice portrait photo finish vs the doll on the right, that seems to blend in with the background. It really just depends on what you're going for in a photo. Personally I like the left photo more, but that's also due to my love for Natalie over Chelsea.
