Well this is for the event. Aria is hunting, and she's put on a serious face for once. |3 Maybe its cause she's in charge of feeding her Tribe, and also because she wants to impress Ordelis

Aria's heart beat rhythmically, her body pressed low to the ground. Her whiskers twitched a small soft chatter came from her throat. She had to use all her will to keep her whole body from wiggling with excitement as her eye trained on the bird. She had to provide for her Tribe, even more now that they were leaving. Leaving everything she had just begun making her new home. She shuddered away the thought, trying to focus instead at the task at paw. The bird was pecking at the ground for insects in the cold and hardened ground. She took in its sharp scent, her tongue swiping across her lips.

The small kitten apprentice would show Ordelis, her deputy, how good of an apprentice she was. She didn't want to look stupid in front of him. She wanted to show that even if she wasn't born here in the tribes, that she was a valuable asset to them. She bunched up her haunches, wiggling them back and forth a little bit and then activating her tattoos and throwing herself forward. The small she-cat was far away to from her prey, but she covered the ground very quickly, her powers pushing her faster than any normal cat.

With the rush of color and fur caught the bird's attention. It raised its wings and took off into the air, fleeing from its pursuer. But it was too late. Aria was on top of her prey in one large leap, brining it to the ground and with a quick nip to the neck it went limp. She raised her head up with her prize of feathers and meat dangling from her jaws. She did it! On to the next hunt.
