Thank you very much for your feedback. Β I have a confession to make...I was so focused on the picture I didn't even notice the title (oops!). Β I saw the image and was inspired to write up a scenario just for fun.
Regardless, I'm so happy you liked my story! Β I got the inspiration from a childhood book called Amarant: The Flora and Fauna of Atlantis by a Lady BotanistΒ by Una Woodruff. Β It's a picture book containing the notes of a fictional botanist who stumbled upon a lost island and recorded/drew the bizarre wildlife there. Β It was a favorite of mine because of the curious creatures and fascinating landscapes. Β It's a beautiful book, and it's on Amazon if you want to give it a look, which I highly recommend (no digital book; physical only).

Oh whoa, the color to this one is really astonishing. This one is really well done & I love Twilight's look of happiness in here & how that translates & works with everything else. You see the perspective of the background in relation to Twi & you get that jolt of joy. Her pose is nice too, but ahhhhhh that purple <3 Really cute!!
