New work...finally!!

I have definitely been on hiatus the last few months. Moving to Oregon while starting a challenging new job took it's toll on my creative energy. Working for Nike is amazing, but it zapped my photographic spark.

I wondered for a while if this is just part of growing up...if this is how it's supposed to be. I felt lost for a while, I felt like all of my ideas were being forced. I wanted to create for all the wrong reasons. At times I felt like stopping all together, so I tried to ignore photography, but it kept resurfacing over, and over. But I was wrong. The part of me I betrayed deserved better...this piece represents that struggle. Tar and feathers, relearning to fly when flying felt impossible.
