Going through my very first Photographs (in general) I have noticed a magnetic pull towards things wrapped in cloth or plastic. It returns in my work, continuously and steadily reappearing every now and then. In Malta I noticed it more intensely than ever. So it became a metaphorical series. Among other wrapped items the cars and boats were the mainsubject.
I think these wrapped objects remind of shrouds, burkhas, silence, waiting, perservering.

To me, this image seems very peaceful. I find walking home at night or in the late evening very relaxing and peaceful. There is something so quite and still, the oposite of the busy day. I think the car looks like it is asleep.

ich wage mich an den tag zu erinnern
gut geworden. find fast die nacht seite davon noch mystischer. kann mich aber ned entscheiden ob tag oder nacht mehr faszinierend ist. hat halt beides seinen reiz.
