10. Harley Cooper with Seaborns Sirren

i hope i got the jump right!.... and thanks for hosting the event *Mendokusee !!

Harley blinked the water out of her eyes, cursing her plan to not wear goggles, but the rain had almost completely stopped just before she started and was now coming down with a vengance. Both she and the big grey mare she was riding were drenched and covered in mud. The ground was getting slippery and she had already hear of a few nasty spills earlier on and she was trying to hold Wren back during the tough parts.

They rounded the corner and were facced with the lake and the water jumps. Wren had been having trouble with the water jump recently and tended to refuse or balk. Harley felt the big mare falter ears swiveling as they approached the lake.

Taking a big breath Harley yelled and dug her heels in starteling Wren into the water before she realised it. Surging through the knee deep water Wren sent waves of water splashing away as they approached the first water jump.

Showing a reckless abandon both mare and girl drove foreward, ears pricked and hair streaming. Harley gave a woop as wren lifted out of the water and showed that amazing jump of hers once again.

ok i have a lot to say bout this peice but ill try keep it short. Not happy sunshine scene = new but i loved it! no more happy weather for Harpg images! The rain was also really interesting to figure out how to do, ended up looking ok! then OMG YAY WET EFFECTS!!! so much random fun shily bits... i liked the rough look too much to try and soften it, as with the water splash. All in all i really enjoyed playing with new ideas! also happy to admit no premade brushes used!! tada! although i didnt really do any grass ... i do like grass!

Also... this marks Wrens 5th Birthday! which makes her eligible to breed, however we will only be taking reservations for breedings.... and to limited stallions so if your interested send me a note, more info will be in a journal!..... the actual breedings will start on her 8th birthday/ a few weeks-1 month/ when i finnish moving and draw a conformation pic!
