Ah, took a mini trip to Washington to get some "House of Cards" money shots (got those on my Instagram~). Took the next few days after my trip to finish up this one.

The background is a photo I took from one of my visits to Hong Kong. It's a place made-famous by a roof-top chase scene from Transformers and henceforth been a tourist attraction for it's claustrophobic atmosphere. I took this picture almost a year ago and I've been wondering what to do with it ever since. And here's the result! Grave of the Numemon.

This is Season 2 Kairi visiting the site of Machinedramon's defeat Reminiscing the sacrifices of the Numemon.

I drew Young Kairi to look reserved, with shrugged shoulders and a reluctant embrace; Older Kairi to have an open embrace with her head held high to show how she's grown stronger since that time. While I was drawing this, I couldn't help thinking of Cate Blanchett saying "I thought you'd be happy to see me, kneel, before your queen!"

Hope you guys like it! And oh, please help suggest this piece to groups that might appreciate this! And of course, Please share throughout social media~ I've been so out of the loop I don't know which social media is "cool" these days. Would love to do this full time one day.
