Life lesson learned: Only take a bit of food, and pull an all-nighter without the parties. Good thing I'm still not in college, and I learnt this.

Snakes! My anatomy class actually did that before Christmas when we were over in one of the rooms at the medical lab, so we could do it being we weren't in the school building where administration could catch us and have a fit. There was a lot there -I didn't gain any weight that time though.
I think it's more the medication than food, because it's known to cause you to retain water weight more and slow the metabolism down. (mine was already slow to begin with) Some of the food before the exams was good, though one of the bagels I actually had to throw half of it away... It was a cinnamon crunch one, and it had all these cinnamon sugar clusters in it -and it was good, but it started to get overwhelming because of how big it was, and then the sugar started to get to my stomach (if I have anything with a lot of sugar in it in the morning, or if I have an apple (especially the red delicious, which have a lot of sugar in them), it causes me to have this cutting, agonizing pain that lasts 20 minutes and all you wanna do is curl up and not move) and I decided I'd better stop before I made myself sick. But I spent the whole summer exercising like crazy and being really careful about not eating high calorie food, and I still only lost half of what I gained. I'm hovering around 144 lbs now, and before all that and starting medication, I used to be about 136.

Only if I have a lot of it in the morning. If I eat something bread heavy, then I can get along better with it, but if I were to have yogurt and then have an apple, or if I were to have a waffle with the traditional syrup rather than jam or penut butter, I'd be writhing in agony. And the red delicious breed of apple will get me any time of day. I just don't eat that type anymore.
Also, another weird food thing with me -I cannot have a banana when I have coffee -the two together cause an aftertaste that's like vomit, and I can't get rid of it for three hours afterwards, even after I brush my teeth.
I'm not exercising a lot right now due to school, but I was on a crazy routine this summer, and really didn't lose much. Now, around Christmas, I actually tend to lose weight, because I get so busy helping around the house and crafting since I make gifts rather than buy them -so I kind of forget to eat until dinner...

Well, most of the food I can't eat in the morning, but I can later in the day. The biggest exception and offender are red delicious apples, but compared to the other types my parents keep in the house, they really don't have that much flavor, so I don't feel like I miss out on much without them.
Whatever you do, don't back away too much and starve yourself -that's not good, and not eating when you're hungry actually can slow down your metabolism and make the problem worse. I just try to go by the rule of not snacking unless I actually need it (not easy when I'm stressed out, but I really try) and at dinner, I only get seconds if I'm still hungry, not because it's good (back in middle school I used to stuff myself to the threshold of pain some nights depending on what we had, and I had to make myself stop doing it... I think I lost ten pounds from that, and that summer before high school I also grew in height. Of course, I'm back up at the weight I was in middle school now, but I've gotten taller, and I'm on meds that do that.

It's impossible to study when there's mountains of food involved.
Once my sisters and I made mini cheesecakes and I had them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

You're welcome. x3
When I was younger I actually used to go around the house and make the staple removers creatures that would float around and bite everyone else (the plastic toy dinosaurs). So dinosaur A had to rescue dinosaur B from the creature.
Im really going off topic now. XD
