These were some fun sketchy character drawings I did a while ago for a story written by , seen here: [link]
It is a continuation of the Waldo and Carmen Sandiego setting. I was finally able to put these up after a long time of waiting for an available scanner.
This was quite a fun mish-mash of characters from books, games, TV shows, etc. Many of the characters were subject to wacky artistic embellishments, so they may look a bit different.

From left to right:
-- Willy Wonka (an inventor and double agent for Acme and V.I.L.E. from the Carmen Sandiego universe)
-- Ms. Frizzle (aka the Frizz; a magical schoolteacher and also a top Acme agent)
-- Mad Hatter (one of Carmen Sandiego's friends and contacts)
-- Susan (a member of The Royal Order of Narnian Ninja Pirates, unaffiliated with Acme or V.I.L.E.)
-- Benjamin Bunny (apparently a vigilante with a black-belt, hired by Captain Hook)
-- Arnold (one of Ms. Frizzle's students, also secretly works for the FBI)
-- Captain Hook (pretty much the same as before, but seems to have become enamored with Carmen Sandiego)
-- Inspector Gadget (only has a short cameo, so he's the same as always)
-- Smee (also pretty much the same, albeit a little more serious than Disney's version)
-- Penny (Inspector Gadget's niece, also the same as always)
-- Brain (Inspector Gadget and Penny's dog, master of disguise and infiltration...sort of)
-- Puff the Magic Dragon (only has a brief cameo, so he is given no description)

There were a lot more cameos, but I didn't have time to do them all. The dragon remains unfinished, so we get to see him in all his scribbly glory.

I've been meaning to put up some of my sketches for some time, but it's difficult to get them all scanned. Personally, I enjoy sketches more than finished drawings because they tend to be more free and full of personality.

All these characters belong to their respective creators. I just thought I should say it.
