Description Yeah. It's Saturday. Which means it's "Isa draws a big fanart to test out capacities she doesn't have" day. URGH. I wanted to test out detailed characters over a painterly background. Yeah, the result is a bit "meh". Oh well. Maybe if I didn't test out a sunset at the same time, the result would have been better.

It's Aang, Tenzin (their kid in the new series) and Katara being nomadic and cute. I'm sure Appa and Momo are flying around somewhere in the background. I loved photos of Tibetans with colored clothing and baby wraps climbing mountains, so I tried to do something with about the same feel.

I made aversion where the sunset tint actually changes the colors. You can see that version here : [link]

This is seriously adorable. I love their clothing, especially Katara's hairstyle. I suppose Kya and Bumi are off somewhere causing trouble while their parents take a nice romantic with their baby brother?

Well, I drew this WAY before Korra started, so I just didn't include Kya and Bumi because I didn't know about them. But we can assume they are with uncle Sokka.

Indeed! The baby would be Bumi or Kya since Tenzin is the youngest. But I drew this a while ago, and it was Tenzin in my mind. *laughs*

It might still be. Auntie toph is babysitting the others.

Sorry for butting in like, 2 years later, I know I'm late to this party (only recently actually watched Avatar & became addicted). But your comment about 'Auntie Toph babysitting' created the most wonderful visualization of her making modified 'Earth tents' to act as 'play pens' (or mini-prisons, depending on the kids ages. xD). Not to mention the fact that *nothing* gets by Toph, & lying just plain doesn't work on her. xD I'm sure she was a truly horrifying Mom at some point (*Horrifying in a good way, just not for her kid(s). I just couldn't help but want to share that little headcannon you inspired. xD
