Been awhile since I posted any art of Hotaka but I really loved the way this came out!This guy has had a pretty rough life, even by Naruto world standards.
He absolutely despises the seal on his chest; it reminds him of the worst betrayal he's ever faced. The only way that Sanmenkyou can be sealed inside someone is through the 8th inner gate. The seal is usually located directly on the heart of the host so it's not visible. However, Hotaka is the only exception where the seal is placed on the outside of his body. And it wasn't by choice either. So yep... He's pissed off.

I really like the approach you took with the background, too. It's very interesting, and definitely allows the character to pop away from the neutral colors while also deepening the feeling of isolation and general unhappiness. You draw humans as if you've always done so, haha! Awesome job!
