Bast, or Bastet - Perfume Protector, Cat Goddess
In Ancient Egypt, Bast is the patron of the sun, and later the moon, cats, women, and secrets. Bast is depicted as a cat or a woman with the head of a cat or a lion. She often carries a sistrum, an ancient musical instrument.

Made for ~Athena-stock 's Tales of Mythos and Magic Contest .
When I read about the contest I immediately wanted to create something with Egyptian deities. This took about 10-12 hours (including stock-hunting, which I find is the hardest part of all), with breaks. I intended to spend a few days on this, but I was having so much fun that I ended up pulling an all-nighter. I hope you enjoy viewing this as much as I enjoyed making it!
