This city is actually on the eastern continent.
Here its always morning to noon.
There is a lot of water alright. C'tek is covered in thick rivers, partially as a result of the never ending
hurricane at the sub-solar point. C'tekians are very mindful of nature. When you're a predator that needs
to hunt to survive you don't want to damage the environment. And C'tekians don't farm so they don't need
to clear a lot of land for crops.
Also you may notice an absence of land vehicles. If C'tekians need to get somewhere in a hurry or travel far
away they either take air ships or boats. On land they prefer to walk. They prefer not to damage the environment
with extensive roadways and walking also keep them fit and in shape!

What stands out to me? :
1st - the vegetation, the trees and shrubbery/grass
2nd - the statues and their placement
3rd - the architecture
Where would I prefer to live? :
Near a port city/ space port as that allows the person to see all the interesting new stuff from abroad

Blatant copycat of the "C'Tauri" or alternate spelling of "Chitauri". They are beings that are part of various mythologies across Africa, Southeastern Asia and the Philippines. A Serpent-race that now hides away underground but once ruled over humankind and even bred with Human women. The concept of The Serpent in the Garden of Eden comes from far more ancient myths of these Serpents, sometimes inaccurately called Reptilians.

I'm sorry and hurt that you think I've tried to copycat something.
I'd never even heard of the C'Tauri.

These C'Tauri are spoken of in African oral tradition as real beings, not merely myth. They are first mentioned in the Septuagint, which was later edited down to become the Old Testament of the Christian Bible. The Septuagint is believed to be over ten-thousand years old and was written in original Aramaic. The Jewish Elders who lived in Alexandria, Egypt (approximately 70 Jewish Scholars) were asked by Pharaoh Ptolemy to translate it into Greek. Ancient Aramaic and Hebrew have almost identical alphabets and Aramaic is a precursor language. The Egyptians of Alexandria were what were known as Coptics and Gnostics, which differs somewhat from what at the time was called Christianity. The group that referred to themselves as Christians were far different from people who self describe as Christian today. Long story short, Cleopatra was the Last Pharaoh of Egypt and was the last of the Ptolemy family who were full blooded Greek. She was the first woman Pharaoh and the last as she opened the borders of Alexandria to Roman Christians who then proceeded to set the Great Library of Alexandria on fire as they said it was blasphemous to Christ. The fire started in the Great Library and eventually spread to other buildings and then to the port and burned all the ships in the harbor. Eventually the Greek Translation of The Septuagint was edited heavily and became The Old Testament of the Christian Bible. Many books of The Bible are edited stories from The Septuagint, with names changed to Jewish names. The names were changed when the Jewish scholars translated the Aramaic to Greek. Many names of books in The Bible are called something else in the Septuagint and there are many more books to it than the edited and abridged Old Testament. The point was The Septuagint mentions the Serpents other places than just in the Garden of Eden. For some reason, the scholars decided to remove them from The Old Testament except for the part about the Garden of Eden. These beings are spoken of all across the world especially in places such as Africa, Vietnam, Thailand, The Philippines, Southeastern Asia, even in Ancient Indian texts (actual India Indians, not Native Americans). Some refer to them by the name C'Tauri but they have other names, including Naga as they are called in India and parts of Vietnam. There are videos of tourists films on youTube of Vietnam and the ancient statues that were sculpted as a tribute to these beings. Go to YouTube and search "NAGA Statues of Vietnam and India". These statues are thousands of years old and show serpents the size of men in coitus with human woman and sometimes men. The Ancient Sumarian tablets speak of the C'Tauri by that name!

This information is very fascinating.
But what hurts me is that you implied that I had blatantly copywritten all this when I designed the C'tekian species.

No, No. I didn't mean you copyrighted anything. I just in a loosely general sense found it too close to ancient mythos. Hollywood has created characters in multiple movies and comic books called The C'tauri / Chitauri BUT they too have copied actual long-standing myths from around Africa and Southeastern Asia. These beings are believed by many in these places to once have been real creatures who influenced mankind over tens of thousands of year ago. I do believe that there is usually some REAL factor to ancient myths. even The Ancient Greeks had myths of serpent-like beings, such as Medusa and the Gorgons if you look into it. I find it very curious that so many ancient cultures had similar stories an tales of similar beings. that you came up with what you did could be a case of what many call racial memory. Perhaps an ancestor of yours had encountered something and Scientists even now say that memories or latent memories of our ancestors can be passed down the generations through the genetic codes as many as 11 generations later. This is why some people have certain phobias when they never had any traumatic events in their own lives. Some believe we carry memories of people our ancestors knew or memories of significant events they had in their own lives. You may have had an ancestor who knew of these beings if you never knew about them yourself. A latent loose memory passed down from ages past into your subconsciousness. I am not saying you did anything wrong just that the similarities are too eerie by mere coincidence.

I don't suppose you're going to be writing anymore Star Trek stories anytime soon? I would love to read one about the...I forget their names, but their like dark elves? Or these serpent people. Both seem really cool!

So many people think of predators as being stupid and only interested in fighting.
Predators are actually very intelligent. They have to be in order to hunt.
I want to portray the C'tekians as being deadly hunters but at the same time having a sophisticated and advanced culture.
