Description A gallery of late 18th/early 19th century heroes (previously posted as the original pencil work). From left to right, they are Grégoire de Fronsac, Prince Andrei Bolkonsky, Natty Bumppo, André-Louis Moreau, Bloody Jacky Faber, Benjamin Martin, the Scarlet Pimpernel, Lucky Jack Aubrey, Richard Sharpe, Horatio Hornblower, the Scarecrow, Zorro, the Count of Monte Cristo, Jack Stiles (as the Daring Dragoon), Richard Bolitho, Jack Sparrow, and Alain Lausard.

Richard Bolitho, Horatio Hornblower, Jack Aubrey, and Jacky Faber wear the dress uniforms of the Royal Navy of the Napoleonic wars (Bolitho's uniform is an older style). Unlike the navies of the day, armies tended to have different uniforms from regiment to regiment; Andrei Bolkonsky wears the uniform of the Russian Imperial Army's Nezhin Mounted Jägers Regiment, Richard Sharpe the British Army's 95th Regiment of Foot (or the 95th Rifles), , and Alain Lausard the French Army's 5th Regiment of Dragoons.

Bolitho wears two Naval Gold Medals, and both he and Hornblower wear the star of the Order of the Bath. Lucky Jack is wearing a chelengk and a Naval Gold Medal. Andrew Bolkonsky wears the medal of the Militär-Maria-Theresien-Orden. Jacky Faber wears her Trafalgar silver medal and medal of the Légion d'honneur.

All characters are property of their respective owners.

I mean this as a little constructive criticism....but shouldn't Jack Aubrey be a little more....stocky?

These are some of the greatest presentations of characters I've ever seen. Thank you so much. (Incidentally, why didn't you include Dr. Syn himself, just because they're both the same person ). Still excellent.

The Scarecrow is the nom de guerre of the Reverend Dr Christopher Syn, smuggler chief and sometime pirate in south-east England during the 18th century. He is the lead character of Russell Thorndyke's early 20th century novels; Disney did a three-part telefilm in 1963 (on which I based my version's visual appearance).

Dr. Syn is the main character of a series of novels by Russell Thorndike, starting with Dr. Syn: A Tale of the Romney Marsh, in 1915.
