In Silver's time, the world is all devastated and stuff, with little to no plant life around, at least ones that the Chao creatures need to survive off of.Here we have Silver trying to care for one of the last remaining Chao from his time. Chaonut/Coconute trees are pretty much extinct, so Silver tries to care for the Chao with a type of soybean milk alternative. Unfortunately the Chao probably won't live too long since it doesn't have the neccessary nutrients
This can sort of be seen as a sequel to "Silver's Directive". You have to be careful on how you're treating the planet you're living on, otherwise there may be no llife on the planet in the future (I don't think Silver would like the idea of living in a space station for many years and getting all fat!)

What a lovely piece - it has such a deep meaning. I wouldn't expect a chao to be alive at all two-hundred years in the future at all, or at least his future, anyways. Poor thing. I love how Silver is willing to do his best to take care of it before it passes away, I can really see it in his expression.
By the way, what kind of brush do you use? I use PSE as well, and I can never find a good brush for me to use when I want to sketch around in it.

Sorry for the long response. I just use the normal softish round brushes in varying thickness and tablet options... Never do get the same affect of brushes on the next restart, so I'm not too sure .___. You may notice that the Silver Fanservice Meme has different thickness/darkness/etc as a result of restarting PSE like 50 times.

Hm...I see. xD I just don't like the effect that comes out whenever I use the brush I use, save for when I might be linearting something, which I always use a specific brush. I just really like the brush affects you have - it looks easier to doodle with.
