So confident, sure of where he's going, able to converse with mere mortals. God, I hate him (for being able to do something I'll never do). Yes, Sherlock. You're not the only one who despises social norms because you're never able to meet them, cast into the shadows for not fitting in and becoming comfortable in the darkness; I resent you a bit too though as I still care very much about others' opinions.
Nice that it sets light and shadow, normalcy and Sherlock's battlefield (of music and humanity's true colors beneath the facade of civility), this piece I mean.
