Charcoal on watercolor paper. I used the paper in an effort to replicate the grainy appearance of the original photo. 4-5 hours.Related content

Thank you! His expression in the original photo was more severe. I was moved by his apparent youth and unintentionally softened his eyes. I guess that's the way *I* saw him.
