Thank you, It is pepakura, then fiberglass resin, bondo, and epoxy clay. Took a while, but I will be casting some pieces out of molds and hopefully can get more pieces out for sale. This is absolutely stunning! The detail that you put into this is perfect! It's as if the helmet had jumped right out of the game! Fantastic work!
What gloss medium did you use over it? The finish is wonderful~

Thank you so much!!! The gloss is a urethane clear, I toned down the front part and added some darker flat colors to the front. I will be posting some new pics tomorrow. Thank you for the thumbs up! I will be starting on chest piece soon.

Is this seriously made from papercraft?! Looks freaking awesome, would love to see more shots! Haven't seen any of the dragonscale armor cosplayed yet; you sure did it justice friend.

Yes, it starts off with paper, then fiberglass, bondo and clay. Once it is sculpted I proceed to the painting and airbrush process. The dragonscale is truly awesome armor and making the helm was really fun. I am very glad to hear the positive feedback. I will be taking some more pictures in a photo cube. I will post them up soon. I am also working on some other armor pieces. Well, thank you and take care.

I just want to say thanks for the positive comments. I am learning, and hopefully I can get better. I am working on some very nice pieces at the moment, but I have to say thanks again to Kuraudo3 and Zombiegrimm from the 405th for the unfolds. These guys are awesome!!!

Yes, I will be going through and adding a more flat paint over to give it more depth, and I will also be darkening the front piece at the top so that it corresponds with the ingame version.
