availed my limited $10 offer and commissioned me to draw her OC Azul. She was kind enough to give me free reign on her character so i did the best that i possibly could in return and hope she likes it. Azul is a very beautiful character and in the process of drawing her, i kinda got connected with the character.Please be kind on the comments as this is my first anthro piece. Really enjoyed doing this though! Hmmmm.... maybe ill do some more anthro stuff.

Great work! I love girls, and cats, and CATGIRLS. What a very soft and pretty kitty. Wonderful lighting and expression. Furry but not too furry. Nice detail on the stripe design. I kinda miss some ears though.... you like more of a human head?

At some point a quarter of my gallery was made of catgirls (which dA claims are not "athro"), but in the recent years I decided to diversify to other subjects and also to other medias.

People were posting catgirls massively at the anthro category, which dA considers a mistake. At some point they posted a news article explaining that "anthropological" means something that is NOT human, but that has human attributes, such as eyes, mouth, arms and legs. A good example of that is Sponge Bob, because he is a sponge (not human) but has a face and limbs like a person. ^^

A catgirl like [link] is not Anthro because she is human with cat ears and tail. The tree people from Lord of the Rings are Anthro because they are not human, but have human-like faces and can talk like a person. Anything that is not human (a pillow, a brick, a tree, a sponge, a car, etc) that you can put a human face on is "antro". ^^

Maybe not even your blue catgirl may be "anthro", because she is human with cat face and features. Anything that already starts with a human shape is not anthropomorphic. For something to be anthropomorphic, it cannot have a human shape, like Sponge Bob has the shape of a brick.
