Description After i did my Thanos piece, i wanted to do more Marvel characters and ive asked a few people who they wanted to have me draw. Kraven here was requested by who has commissioned me to do some pieces in the past. I was planning to do a feral looking Kraven at first but decided with having him look like he is tracking/stalking his prey... Simplified his design too coz the huge cat eyes looked weird. The only reference used was for the costume design (another character who i though i memorized the design of!). I also suck at backgrounds but wanted to do something simple but still convey where he is.

I think he would be a great addition to the Spideyverse in the movies... would be a bit hard to translate the character to film thoughΒ

Now that you mention it, a while ago I read in one of Cracked articles a cool idea about it. It goes something like this: basically someone (possibly Misterio) frames Spider-Man for the murder of a well known figure (like Captain Stacy), so the city resolves they have to call someone to take him down: enter Kraven the hunter Β I do not know, it is kinda silly, but it could work that way

hehe... it does sound silly but i guess people juz want him in the movies. Dont get me wrong, i want him to be in the movie too and i actually have an actor in mind for him... Scott Adkins (Undisputed 2). If you havent heard of him, look at videos or pics of him as Yuri Boyka. Juz slap some hair and that is Kraven Β  But it still would sound funny though if Spiderman or any hero would be suspected of murder and the best idea they got is hire a Russian Hunter.

Thanks! I was contemplating on drawing Kraven enraged or leaping or something... but decided to do him in a very strong but calm pose which i think worked i do hope to improve my skills some more

I think it worked out awesomely this way, personally. He looks like a jungle cat, calm and keen, stalking his prey just before the attack comes.Β

me too! i never thought of drawing him but ive been wanting to make a custom action figure of him as i never got the Marvel Legends/Spiderman series that was released before... he is a very complex and interesting character indeed!

Sadly I don't think he was flashy enough. But for all those gimmicks and gizmos out there, it was Kraven who was the closest to defeating Spiderman permanently.

yep! and speaking of defeating spiderman, have you read the arc where Kraven's family was hunting Spiderman's family? i loved that arc!
