Description (The Second Winter Song)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some thoughts:

I wonder about the implicit finality that is imposed on a work by submitting it for public viewing.

By the nature of its medium, this is an image that is fluid and malleable. I think it draws its greatest strength not from a uniqueness as an object but rather, from what it is when viewed in the larger context.

Only when you see the multiple possible outcomes are you really seeing it the way I do.

I hope then, by posting the iterations, not to bore you but to let the work bring you closer to the same experience I had making it.

It's a unique experience indeed, by combining a celestial atmosphere and a depressive, almost bleak subject such as winter for example. Very impressive, specially colour-wise.

Fantastic colors! I absolutely love the little part in the upper left corner, like someone standing back there or something.

This pulsates with great love and intensity. I love the coolness of the expression and demeanor.

Well done.

i agree with you. the online does limit the possibilities, but it also opens the possibilities. if it werent for online, i wouldnt bee able to view this wonder at all (albeit small and limited in size and detail), so as usually, im yingyang!

Don't let me judge it.... I like the fluidity of this... a statement of one's (this lady here's) unrealised world, or orb, of life!

Very interesting. Art works are fascinating like that... even a straight photo can be printed many ways... and one usually takes at least a few of the subject.

I do believe that the 'steps'... or continuing evolution can add to an experience...much as a film might.

THank you for sharring your thoughts..... the differences are so small but so powerful to the mood and thoughts that each piece evokes within me.

wonderful.

thats interesting, to be honest thats one of the hard parts of digital painting for me, knowing where to end, to stop, or if i should! you know.
But it must be beautiful to embrace it and let them grow along with you in time. I think is really nice that you get us all into that process as your viewing audience, not only judging the end of them but their creation really.

And in this one i like...blue hehe

Your use of geometric shapes coupled with organic images have always caught my eye. I really enjoy this piece, perhaps because I like the color blue. But also, I enjoy the complexity of the subject. Abstract artwork holds a boundless number of meanings beyond what other art forms have. On another track of thought, I must remember to start lurking about your gallery more often. It's been far too long since I really commented on the wonderful images you produce.
Back to the subject-
Human form is beautiful to humans, and I love that you expressed it here. An altered view though it is, it makes one look at the human body in different ways. The separation allows for a strong focus on the presented parts. I can't help but want to ask the lovely lady what exactly she's looking at off to the side. All the while, the wisps of blue are creating an air of mystery, further deepening interest within the piece. The prime of it isn't just the organics, but the beautiful structuring within and around the chaos. Faded lines and shadowed forms lead the eyes well into the focal points. Overall I could rave on, but I believe I've exhausted my windy critique for the time being. Lovely job, I hope to see even more art from you in the future months (and dare I say-Years?) to come.

I like this one as much as the first. I like the higher contrast and being able to see more of the elements. Is the oracle seeing a clearer view? Can't wait to see more of these.
