Description A drawing of an abandoned house in Newton county, Mississippi. The lady who owned it is a friend of my Grandmother's, and she moved into town and sold her land to a logging company. Since they have no interest in the house, it's taken about six months for all the windows, copper piping, and plumbing to vanish. Wasps nests are so plentiful that the buzzing is audible from outside.

Anyway, I did this on frosted mylar, with colored pencils, acrylics (on the reverse side), and water-soluble pencils.

(Why isn't there a landscape category?)

there is a landscape catagory, i think. I put one in landscapes. I wish i had patience for landscapes and architecture.

I'm thinking about transposing them with bodies where the heads are cropped out of frame, etc. Not sure how figurative works will be received, but oh well.
