Description Before the debate begins, allow me to explain my reasoning for House choices.
First off, I wanted four characters for the fours houses (sorry Chad fans/Renji fans/whoever else fans, they didn't make the cut) :/

Inoue = Hufflepuff, a no-brainer, get it? Actually, she's very intelligent, but probably more in a Luna Lovegood kind of way.


Ishida = Ravenclaw, I can easily see him in Gryffindor (as pretty much every other Bleach character), I even played with the idea of Slytherin, but ultimately he's the smartypants.

Rukia = Gryffindor, while Uryu was busy being Slytherin in my head, she spent a short time as a Ravenclaw. But after Ichigo's house was decided upon, she was the clear lion. Sry Kon.

Ichigo = Slytherin, though your jaw might still be dropped with this one, I ask that you hear me out. After I got over my preconceived idea that automatically placed him in Gryffindor, I thought who strives for power more? Sure, it's all for the sake of 'protecting the people he cares about' and oh how Gryffindor of him, but really, it just made more sense to me this way.

I would kinda prefer Ichigo being in Gryffindor rather than Slytherin, because I think it fits him slightly better, especially with the similarities that he and Harry have going on, but then again, Harry would've been in Slytherin if he hadn't asked the Sorting Hat not to put him there (although if we're talking about how similar they are, Ichigo might ask to not be put in Slytherin as well. I don't think being in the supposed "evil" house would sit very well with him .)

I do think that Slytherins usually strive for power to achieve their own ends, not for other people (you wouldn't describe Ichigo as being "power hungry," as Slytherin was called in one of the Sorting Hat's songs.) The whole self-sacrificing martyr thing is Gryffindor to a T, and we all know that Ichigo and Harry are both stereotypical stoic heroes. However, I totally understand your reasoning for putting him in Slytherin, and I get that you wanted one character in each house.

Anyway, you can tell I'm very conflicted on this debate topic On a side note, Uryu's and Orihime's houses are perfect, and I agree that Rukia could be either a Ravenclaw or a Gryffindor. Great pic! Harry Potter + Bleach = Epic Win!!!

(whoever said that Uryu's dad is a total Malfoy is amazing. That blew my mind )

I basically agree with everything you said HAHA that's why I felt the need to follow up with the Gryffindored version [link]

I started to get into Bleach after I was already a Potter fan and I remember thinking Harry and Ichigo were very much the same, especially with the whole mysterious-inner-evil-struggle shtick. And they both have that 'playing the hero" thing down. That's why they *are* the heroes! lol So if I really had to choose for Ichigo it would definitely be Gryffindor.

Loveliness I can honestly see both Ichigo and Rukia in either Gryffindor or Slytherin, as a Slytherin myself on Pottermore, our head girl said that "Gryffindor and Slytherin are divided by such a fine line, it's a small quality that tips the scale, but Slytherin is clearly better ofcourse" So I could see them both interchanging, and it's funny that you almost put Rukia in Ravenclaw, that's the house I used to put her in in my fics, now I usually put her in Slytherin or Gryffindor I think everyone can agree on Orihime's house though Uryuu's too, although I sort of see his dad as being the Malfoy of the previous generation xD Another reason why Ichigo is a good Slytherin is that, "You will find no house with a closer brotherhood" Ichigo sticks to his freinds like glue, I couldn't see him in a house like Ravenclaw where no one really cares much about their housemates, Slytherins pretty much stay balled up in a nest together like snakes But anyway my point is that I really like this pic and your house choices

That's so cool, (I'm officially a Ravenclaw ) but I saw the Slytherin welcome message and yes! It's all about the brotherhood, which really makes sense. Realistically, he would probably be a Gryffindor, but like I said, I wanted to show all four houses. To appease my own inner struggle with it I made an all Gryff. one so.. hakuna matata!
I love how you've made bleach/hp fanfics! How fun would it be if a bleach filler would take place at Hogwarts?
And HAHA, Uryu's dad SO is a Malfoy.

Ooooh nice We're pretty neck and neck with house points, I've been brewing potions like my life depended on it Oh can't wait If they secure permission from J.K. Rowling what's stopping them? That'd be really epic though... yeah I mostly do Bleach/HP one shots but I have one two series :3 Wouldn't he? Isshin would probbably be more of a Sirius than Snape or James though, or maybe more of an Arthur Weasley, I could see that... and Byakuya'd probbably be either a Malfoy or .. no! SNAPE!!!! Yes Isshin is more of a Sirius/James. Maybe Urahara is more laid back like Sirius lol, but Byakuya IS Snape. HAHA that's perfect, he's a smexier Snape with headgear lol. Maybe that's my next crossover pic...

My name on pottermore is KnightNox139 btw in case you want another friend there. I do have a soft spot for Slytherin and I'm all about inter-house unity, and I hear Merlin was a Slytherin Not too shabby there! lol

I love Snape too Admittedly I'm more partial to Hermione because I've always been looked at as the Know-It-All bookworm who's still outgoing enough to talk to people and not so much just as the bookworm who stays to herself But Snape is a close second Ah yes Ravenclaw only got ahead of us once since I've been on Pottermore and we were all slithering around brewing potions like our lives depended on it I sort of feel bad for Gryffindor and Hufflepuff though, I mean atleast Ravenclaw and Slytherin are neck and neck but those poor two houses have no chance at all in catching up
Yes I can see him skulking around the common room or the halls at night getting into crap wile Rukia looks on in shame pounding her head against a wall because she has to go chase him back to his dorm again before a teacher catches him Being that our common rooms are a dungeon and not a tower, we're the most likely house to decide to go exploring at night because we're still in the actual school I love our common room though, heights scare me so it's nice not being in a tower and it's really nice having the lake right outside

Yes, well I admit to having a crush on Lupin, and I definitely identfy more with Luna and Tonks, but as far as characters go Snape is beyond the most intriguing to me. I miss reading the books so much.

I identify with Luna and Hermione for two completely different reasons I have Luna's wonderfull weirdness and Hermione's bookwromness X3



Yes she does Mostly in the attitude xD Eventually I plan on doing a Bleach/HP crossover where Rukia and Hermione meet and are both very wary of eachother wile Ichigo is completely oblivious to this (Hermione was his pen pal wile Rukia was gone and so he considers her his freind, that and he has a tendency to trust people alot more than he should xD)

Yeah that's exactly it We get to watch the merfolk and occasionally the giant squid will swim by I just wish we had sharks.... I LOVE sharks... Yeah, I hear all the common rooms have something special, we get an aquiarium and get to fall asleep to the sounds of water swishing, Ravenclaws have the best veiw of the castle, Hufflepuffs have the warmest common room and I hear Gryffindor has the most games/activities openly; ohh me too I'd so love an aquirium in my basement.....
