I really, really wanted to paint something jugend/art Nouveau - inspired. This is the not so advanced result, but I really really love it.It's of course the Greek goddess Artemis riding on a deer. Watercolors. I got the pose from an old picture of a Ziegfeld-girl, which i think you can find among my favorites.

Thank you very much. The scanning of the picture didn't turn out as good in the colors as the original, but I'm very glad something came through.

What did you use as a reference? If you use a real person rather than a photo it really makes a difference
