Description This is a commission for (a gift from ).

Zebras are one of my favourite animals, I'm lucky to have a whole herd living in the mountains nearby. They're gorgeous and I love them. I love watching them hang out with the giraffes.

I love zebras too. I love the sound they make , it is just too cute. This picture is such beautiful artwork! I love the zebra that's looking forward.

Wow this looks amazing, Zebras are my all time favourite animal and I love these two here, they are just so sweet and may I add very well drawn, i love how you have drawn their eyes because they really make them just look completely adorable , and their manes too. But I think I'm most impressed at how neatly you managed to draw all those stripes on them, I mean they must have been really complex to draw , the background is great too, i love how subtle the sky is. So do you see zebras a lot in South Africa then? I just can't get over how amazing this picture is you're really talented, thanks again and I think I have found a new favourite picture XD

Thanks so much! Zebras are one of my favourite animals, I love their stripes and their manes, actually I love everything about them! xD
The stripes took me about an hour to draw, I drew it tradionally, I used a Japanese brush pen which made it even more time consuming, but I had fun all the same!
Yes and no, I don't think many of them are in the wild (mainly because of poachers) so they're all kept in Game Reserves (really huge fenced off areas, so huge the animals kept in them don't realise they have boundries) I think all game reserves throughout the country have zebras. I tried to upload a video to YouTube to show you the ones I filmed in December, but YouTube ate my video, it disapeared, so I'm going to reupload it and then link you sometime. ^^

I know I just love the way that they have such cool patterns with all their stripes they are jus such pretty animals.

Its cool how you drew them traditionally, I've used thos epens before and they are really lovely to work with but I know that they do take a long time to use.

A ok that makes sense I guess becuase I'd doubt that they'd let all the zebras wander around everywhere XD.
