Akushon Man is a movie/movie genre themed sentai team that is inspired by Akibaranger and Kamen Rider ExAid (who's design is amazing and is hitting me in all my 90s nostalgia). Each ranger is based on a different movie genre (Red - Action, Blue - Fantasy, Green - Adventure, Yellow - SciFi, and Pink - Horror). In addition they all have special powers based on media controls (play, pause, rewind, fast forward, and stop). The collectable gimmick is a series of tapes (made to look like small VHS tapes) called Akushon Films. Each Akushon Film is based on a movie genre and aids the rangers in transforming, changing forms, summoning zords, and using weapons.
