this picture took me forever because i'm terribly indecisive about everything, and really anal about each color looking exactly the way i want it. i went through like five half-finished background ideas before finally coming back to this one. sand is such a bitch to texture. metal is such a bitch to shade. cloth folds are such a bitch to draw. but i sucked it up and did it. aaaaand i like it lots.

for now, at least.
