I know you're thinkin' "WTF", but wait! I can explain... XDI have been wanting to do Goemon comic versions of some of the songs I like for a while now... only just recently got a magical burst of inspiration and finally produced one. This here contains the lyrics to the first half of 'Someone Saved My Life Tonight', with Goemon acting out the narrator's part. It doesn't perfectly match the meaning of the original song or anything, but I don't really care about that.
I cut the lyrics in half so that this could end neatly since it was already a huge file; but it also leaves it open to a sequel (the second half of the lyrics) if I ever decide to do that. It could happen; some of my fave parts are in that half.Trying to experiment with not using same-sized boxes for all the frames, and changing the alignment until it didn't look too awkward, it ended up looking kinda odd regardless. And the art style is really inconsistent, it was difficult since it all had to be drawn on different files (it crashed Photoshop Elements pretty frequently...)
Anyways, was this a good or bad thing?

The one more beer frame is so awesome it hurts. And now I'm imagining Goemon getting drunk and doing "Sudden Impact" (aka Super Saiyan!) to crush the beer cans after he drained them.

Though, not knowing the song, it was if he was longing after Yae... and yet he was longing after Omi-chan as well, I mean, what in the name of God man?
Really really cool though. It's a series like this you can do anything with!

Oh, man. 
The thing with this song is, some parts I don't understand, like the Yae on TV bit, so I just improvised. XD As for Omitsu, she's actually representing two separate people referred to in the song, but I didn't learn that until after I drew it. She's both the singer's savior (the 'sugar bear' LOLZ) and the lover he is afraid of being tied down by. So what I did here didn't make sense at all, and it didn't relate to the actual couple at all, either.
But yeah, I hope that makes it at least vaguely less confusing. And thank you!!!

Awesome! A great idea, and nicely executed, as always. I like how some of the panels seem to have distinctly different styles, and making them different sizes helps keep them from getting monotonous, I think.
