My 2011-2015 improvement meme!

2011: Even though I had my first tablet when I was 14 years old, I started drawing more often when I was 19. I used Paint Tool Sai for my artworks.

2012: I started taking commissions the mid-year and slowly using semi-realism style. I still use Paint Tool Sai for the whole year, except for the 4th thumbnail which I used Photoshop CS2.

2013: I realized that I like semi-realistic style so I stick with it and practiced more. Still haven't learn how to cast lighting and shadows though.

2014: My style is slowly evolving into more semi-realistic and practiced drawing with lighting, anatomy, etc.

2015: This is my favorite year so far because I accomplished many artworks for this year. I started to paint with depth. I also started playing around experimenting with different brushes and stick with few for the rest of my artworks. I used more layer modes. I also tried using the Ambient Occlusion technique with my Kagami Sci-Fi Character Design (1st thumbnail) to practice lighting and realism, although I just used it once this year because it took me too long 😅

So yeah, hope this will give you hope that everyone has a beginning and with lots of practice and passion for art you won't notice that you already improve even for a little. Practice, enjoy drawing, learn from others and be inspired! ❤️ Don't give up!!!

I especially want to thank everyone of you who made me more inspired because of your support! Thank you so much and get ready for the next year!! ❤️

Edit: In case some of you will ask if I went to an art school, no. I'm a self taught and just learn from others especially those with extraordinary artworks like Artgerm and DanLuVisiArt . I got very serious in painting starting in 2014 but achieved more art this 2015.
