I paint on cheap canvas panels with cheap paint. It's a good idea.

The label change made the biggest difference. The previous label wasn't helping the shape of the bottle in hind sight.
The intensified contrast makes this look much more robust that the original wip you showed me.

It feels like a cold color piece, yet the main colors are warm. I like it!
