sorry, couldnt think up a better title...this piece is a prime example of one which took me damned long just coz i always got lazy whenever i started to work on it. i would load up photoshop, open the file, color abit, then suddenly lose all interest. gotta kick that habit.
finally its done~ shizuru is the cooooolest hime. so what if shes a les, shes still damned cool when in crazy mode. her weapon, her child, everything about her. okay now i got a sudden urge to do a evil shizuru in kimono version. or i could just wait for mai-otome to come out... (new shizuru reminds me of a preistess lol)
photoshop 7.0, time taken roughly... i got no idea. but i started this around 3-4 weeks ago. u.u

I love the picture. The colouring is so vivid, appropriate for a 'Mai HiME' piece. The perspective's good to, with how the weapon seems pointed right at you... Is that Shizuru's Child in the background? I've not seen the end of the series, so haven't seen hers yet. Will now go and check out your other work. And favourite this.
Shizuru is a cool HiME. And the only one who seems to know what she actually *wants* love-wise. Which doesn't do her any good (as far as I've seen), seeing as the one she wants is Natsuki...

yea, thats her child in the background. its one of the more powerful ones. the perspective took quite a bit of imagination, and inspiration from several sources.

Re-enactment isn't my job, just a hobby. Shame I couldn't do it 'professionally', as it's a whole lot of fun. Then there's the fact that I can kick a** with a longsword (not literally, of course)
I really like the look of your stuff, and will try to comment on as many as I can. I'm afraid I don't have much experience on...technical things re drawing and the like (I'm just a beginner), but I will attempt to give a constructive opinion.

i know what u mean about losing interest thing -.- i dunno what its jst a thing i do i work on somethin then jst suddenly lose interest about half way through or jst a bit and takes ages to complete nice pic btw i like shizuru's kick ass weapon
