alrighty. so wednesday night i decided i wanted to bind a book, a very teensy one... and i did. poorly done as i had no cutting devices or measuring devices, i kind of like it rough looking, though. i used watercolor paper for the signatures, some black textured cardstock for the cover, and regular ol' sewing thread to stitch (glue = gel polymer medium^^ grand stuff).

then the doodles...
the first was inspired by mayan art... i did a report on them for my art appreciation class and found their artwork incredibly interesting (as well as the stories around it...) and yeah, i wanted to start doodling some ^^ the little swirlie parts are actually teensy tall letters written really close together. i used a tech pen (.005) and watercolor.
the second... a chicken hula-hooping. it says 'ba-gock'... hehehe. yeah. thanks to trent for that idea ^^ ...tech pen (.005), a couple colored pens, and watercolor.
the third... a bunny, which i kind of feel guilty about. i was browsing DA and there was this adorable picture of a bunny [link] and i was freakishly compelled to attempt scrawling it out because it was soooo freakishly cute. tech pen (.005).
the third and fourth are ...yeah, obviously the same drawing, different angles, straight on it's really hard to see what it is... it's actually a sleeping trent ^^ hehe... watercolor background and white charcoal drawing, kind of ghosty, which is really neat in my opinion...

any further ideas or ideas on improvements i can make to these?
