This is perfect in black and white and I don't think it would have caught my attention otherwise. This month is NaPoWriMo, and to be honest visual arts are getting short shrift simply because I don't have time to be fair to them. Poetry is where my heart beats and it just gets all of the attention right now. But this photo begged me to look closer, and probably would not have done so in color.
It's a bit of a contradiction, both isolating and hopeful, and compelling for that reason. Thanks for sharing it.
