This came about because i was raging over the whole"girl thing" yesterday... and some of you might remember I tend to always draw something during that time of the month (partly to vent, partly to mark it on my calendar... not that it helps since I'm so incredibly irregular, but on the off chance that I'm actually on time for once, it kind of helps me know when the next one might be)... but besides that, I used to do the more angry and in pain stuff before
but then I decided it was important to celebrate my womanhood and not wallow in the misery of it and started making
I think I prefer the happy.
and I realize hardly anyone is even going to READ these comments, probably only seeing a naked chick, but I assure you there was a reason for this drawing more than just eye candy... even the red here is for a reason, though I only just got it now myself
hehehe funny how that works out sometimes XPNothing is showing so I didn't put a mature tag but if anyone is offended let me know first and I'll add it in.

That's very true but I don't believe women who cover themselves in make-up or whatever to be "beautiful" is what I would call healthy, and these people get told they are beautiful all over the media so I assumed that's what you were on about really.

Another clear winner... the human figure is still considered one of the foundations of visual art and this shows you understand more than just how to render well..good work!

I think nature feels the same way...
and one can even distort figure-work to represent other ideas ...such as giving a praying figure small hands to represent a diminishing of faith. That might also foretell how the rest of the figure will sit perhaps the head is turned away, eyes looking over the shoulder, a hideous broken mouth becomes a tragically beautiful smile.. or sumthin.

i've never had it red so it's a bit of a temptation, but I do love my brown hair and it does look healthier as virgin hair instead of dyed... still thinking of it though.
