Last night I decided to try making Kirby outta felt. Here's the result! It's about 6 or 7 inches high, and so cute to have around. ^^ I even took pictures of the progress so I will likely post a tutorial.

I know this sounds repetitive, but its very cute! What stinks is I tried making it with your tutorial, and it looked like a foot ball :I But, you know, ya learn from this.

I think the first time I tried sewing a sphere the same thing happened to me, too.

I thought it was a little funny how it came out XD But, whatevs. Its better to have your own special, hand-made Kirby then to find one somewhere, over priced. And it makes you appreciate all the work you put into it.
And yes, a football Kirby would be hilarious

im trying to make one like this, but im getting confused at part were you start to sew the 2 body segments. do you sew them both together our do you only sew one side?

Hmm, I'm not sure I understand where your having trouble, but I'll try to help. You should have cut 4 body segments. First you sew 2 segments together one one side. Then take the other 2 segments and do the same. Each of those will look like sort of a pocket, but if you open it up and flatten it out a bit, you'll see it makes a circle shape. You want to put the circle shapes together and sew all the way around but leave a section open so you can turn it inside out and stuff it.

my, my, I thought this was store bought at first, tutorial huh? well, im good at sewing, and I love Kirby. Meh, I'll fill my room with hand-made Kirbys.
and I guess I better get some more work soon, I'm gonna need more money for all the Kirby making.
BTW: I think I'm gonna try a diferent type of Kirby mouth on my plushies. Not sure what type yet though...
