Way back when I was in middle school, I managed to find some of the original story concepts for American Dragon: Jake Long on the internet (but unfortunately, I can't find them ANYWHERE now), and one of the early ideas was that Jake was not only able to turn into a dragon, but also all of the other animals of the Chinese Zodiac!
Now THAT would've been interesting!
