I've been to Russia and noticed how some of the topology resembles Northern Ontario.  Certainly the winters must be similar.  Your painting reminds me of that mellow, quiet time of day in the late winter afternoon as the sun is declining, leaving a soft glow in the west, which causes us to pause and admire, despite the frigid evening air.

Thank you Daniel, I'm really glad that you like my work, I am very pleased you say, I'm very self-critical person, and sometimes it seems to me that some of the work is not very good, but after these comments, I think that not all that bad, thanks!!!
