Description MB3D 1.8.9

Guess some of you have the disease or witness so many people affected by it.

First time I use a parameter not made by me. The original was made by in his great work fav.me/d8djvsj I took a wrong initial approach and screwed up with the piping. My design was good but not neat. So, decided to make something different, closer to an artistic impression, and added _SphereInvC as a 5th formula. Something subtle happened.

The render could have been better, but the brutal colour shift and loss of mood were unacceptable. So, it was rendered at the best possible quality without affecting both. If you read this , I can give you some tips, as you were experiencing similar problems.

For what may be worth, it's still Ken's parameter, no matter the added formula, so here it is in case someone wants to give it a try:

Ken was also kind enough to give me a very good explanation about the "plumbing issues":

"I can see where you might be having problems with "Steam Plant".  The main formula that controls that whole fractal is SierpHilbert.  If you start with the base formula presets and have your iteration counts at 1, start by setting the formula for Amazing Box, the changes won't be too big all you want to do is get the box shapes as clear as possible.  On _FoldingCTetra3d, I found that basically the numbers act as switches with 0 being off and 1 being on, I used only FoldingC 2nd half and Folding XYZ.  Now SierpHilbert controls every thing else, Set Scale and Cscales to whatever size you need, add in Rotation angle if you are adventurous, Edge 1 and 2 control rectangular shapes from a set point.  Now the fun part, change the Iteration Count on Amazing Box to 2 and leave it, FoldingCTetra3d stays at 1, but SierpHilbert is increased until you get solid pipes, my setting is 4 but higher is ok.  Once there, go back and fine tune SierpHilbert until you get your final outcome and do a render.  I did all this with the Navi tool, there is a little check box that will set the Navi screen to High Quality that makes it easier to see what you are doing.

Hope this helps anyone who reads it."

Must have been in the fly-by-mode when I saw this! Or maybe it speaks even more to me now since it  is far above 30 degrees over here and I am really not used to this heat. Looking at your render, I feel I might catch fire if I stare too long! Or else those pins will be fired ;}
Great work!

Fly-by-mode...or mood., I like that! Hope you didn't turn the air conditioning on after looking at it, more than 30 degrees in Holland is too much!
Thanks dear friend!

Air-conditioning? No one has that here! We usually do not need to No no, it is sweating by the ventilator The heat is not the worst, but it is almost always quite humid here when it's warm. I've been in India with 44 degrees and it felt less hot than with 35 here. Ah well, who knows, I may get used to it We get these hot summers more often and often. Global warming of course does not exist

Most welcome, dear Sergio!

If I had enough capital, I would establish an air conditioning business there Summers here are two faced, heat can get really annoying when damp, but more or less bearable when dry. Main problem are blackouts, as usual, and storms. Oh of course, there is no global warming, that's something these "environmentalist hippies" say.

Thanks mate! Yes, hot colours are my favorite, so I have to chill out every now and then with blues.

This is simply amazing.  I don't know how to explain it!  Wonderful use of color and light, not sure I have seen it used like this before.

Fantastic work!

Thank you very much for such a nice comment!
Rest assured that I wasn't looking for such an effect on purpose. When working with dfog magic happened and instantly realized the potential. Had to be very careful with final render settings to keep everything intact

Sometimes those accidents are better than trying to achieve something on purpose!

Piping with radiant heat - Yes! Certainly we should be able to reverse the effect in summer The ancients are years ahead of us.

Excellent comp, lighting and colors!  While I can not see your vision I can see this!!

LOL, I love your insights about what you see in an image. Never crossed my mind. Very smart indeed!

I didn't hesitate with the title. Kind of a giant server and buildings complex with cables, wires and microwaves. Some weeks ago when I traveled to the city, saw a woman crossing a street not even over the white bands but in the middle of the block. Her head buried in her cellphone and not minding about traffic at all. A spooky sight indeed! A pandemic disease that is causing many accidents.
