Hey man! I think this is coming along great. I see you love the detailing, but before you get to that spend a bit more time developing the forms and anatomy and then lay the detail on top of that. Looking forward to seeing your progress!

Excellent stuff - good overall creature design (though not crazy about the overbite - I think that would impede normal eating), nice skin textures and the eyes are ace!
