Arrrrrrrrgh.This was originally done in watercolor, "luminescent" watercolor, and gouache.
Then I had to spend a lot of time in my editing program jazzing the lighting and color back up (in addition to the background and special effects), because blaaarrrgh.
The wingtips were actually supposed to be violet. XP
I don't know if it's solely because the luminescent watercolors I used don't translate well on camera, or if it's a combination of that and the fact that my room is essentially a light-devouring vortex inside a dank cave, but... urrrgh.
Whatever. I suppose this is fine.

The orientation of this creature and the look about it's eyes is brilliantly postured to look as if it is about to devour whatever is hanging around on the top right of one's screen. Wonderful!

Hmmm... I haven't nibbled on any of that kind of cheese yet. My cheese tastes reflect the fact i might be a bit of a spoilt brat. I am a very partial to gooey brie or camembert, although I haven't eaten any for a very long time.
