Description Time is not linear...even einstein knew this. We only experience it this way due to our fragile minds... When we dream, we see as it is, time is jumbled, events and images happen in rapid sucession, one can experience all of eternity in an instant. Seconds turn to years, eons turn to days as we walk through the infinit desert of time, though the sand is not scorching... it is oddly cool to the touch, and pleasant on the feet.

Great shot, for me the clouds add alot to the time aspect of the photo.

oh my, this image is simply gorgeous... do you have a prints account? because I would buy this in a second... not to mention the words you put with it. You've summed up exactly how I feel about life. There is something bigger than what we know in the here and now, and the metaphor of the beach fits it perfectly. A wonderful image, and techincally brilliant too. Fantastic.

epson 3170 its a great scanner, the picture itself is what the prob was, It has slide scanning capability built in too (back lit lid! with various attachments for slide and negatives!) which I have needed for some time, they come out a little darker, but its easily adjustable in pshop. It has some good software too

I had an hp scanjet that only cost like 70 bux and that thing did a pretty good job for a while but it didnt have slide capability you should be able to get a decent flatbed without slide capability for that much

yep and color reversal film (slides) cheap to develop too I prefer them to regular prints. They hold more depth and are nowhere near as grainy

oh so when u scan the negative..... it comes out just like a regular pic?

Serinanth In reply to teknik [2004-02-14 05:54:54 +0000 UTC]

it scans as a ngative, everything reversed, but the software included has this handy feature of reversing all the colors so it is as how you saw it
