winter version of the same picture - mainly I wanted to see how the picture would look if its predominantly blue. I'd probably move this one to scraps later, since technically this was just a bg paintover plus some colour adjustments from the other one.Adobe Photoshop CS2, Corel Painter 8

I personally love this one more than your Autumn version. It's nothing against the other one, it's just that I have a thing for winter, as many of the others have pointed out here. So much in fact that I think I'm gonna place this particular shot in my favs.

I think I prefer the autumn better, but I think you can see details on the girl better, especially the wing feathers.

Thanks, and you're right about the transparency, I probably should have put more effort into that
I guess I got a bit lazy since this was actually more of a hue/saturation adjustment that went a bit further.

i like this one better...
it is entirely coincidental that i like blue very much...
and that i am personally biased towards it against those in the other work...
who am i kidding...
everyone has their color preferences...
and you just so happened to modify into mine...

why doesn't everyone remake their work in blue...

lol, to each their own. You can always photoshop every picture you like to change their colour scheme
in general, I prefer blue as well, but it wasn't the original colour I had in mind for this picture

I just don't have photoshop...
and do not know how to use it...
that and I realize that some paintings would not look good in blue...
even the most beautiful color must concede a painting or two in the name of art...
and I must remember that art's main purpose is expression...
and not everybody is trying to express that which the color blue conveys...
and that is a good thing...
if everyone just felt the same about everything, life would be so much less interesting...
