Description
READ CAREFULLY:Project for my Digital Message Making class. The goal of this assignment was to take an image, and use it for both the Pro side, and Con side of a controversial argument. I chose Videogame Violence for my theme. You HAD to use the same image, and could only change the cropping, color scheme, headline, and body copy to promote each side. This is the Con side of the argument.

I agree. Parents should be aware of the kinds of games that they buy for their kids, not to mention how they raise their children in reaction to the world around them.
Grand Theft Auto on the other hand, is a sand box game with a based loosely on morally ambiguous lives of criminals in an exaggerated environment. Without any of the actual dialogue, it's not really that bad.

Not ALL video game violence sets a bad example. Halo is a violent videogame, yes, but it teaches kids how to defend humanity against a bunch of alien bastards that want to wipe them off the face of the galaxy.

interesting - but video games, films and music EMULATE society, they are not society itself, they are a mere reflection of customs and values (and life) of the time it is created - its so easy to blame the media.

Hmm... i play at aprox. 98 hours or more a week in games but the thing is saying here is basically the truth, are we going to continue to degrade ourselves by making games like GTA or Mortal Kombar or any other violent game, thats why they made ESRB to control kids with a few games that are to much for them...(Continues at PRO)

Too violent to me... maybe guys can see deeper behind the "zombie babies", but for a girl like me it's clear as cristal, and horrible.

I see what your going with this and its a very compeling and interesting contrast between the pros and cons, but the one thing that sticks out the most to me for some uknown reason is the fact were both the same hight, at least by an inch. I know thats a little weird to mentioned epsecially with the pic.
