Full View~"The forest speaks a tale of two rabbits; One who became trapped in a hunters' snare, to be silenced for eternity; and another whose couragous efforts saved that rabbit from unendurable pain."
My ultra late half of a art trade for . I'm soo sorry for the wait
. I spent extra time on this to make it up xD.Okay, my new submission was meant to be a new DevId. This time, instead, I decided to fullfil a promise I made a very long time a go. The two rabbits are named Eirlys (the female with the white patch on her head), and Jive (the brown and yellow one). They are very cute characters though I'm unsure if they're actually a couple ^__^;. The story of the rabbits is that Jive is caught in a snare and because of the traumatic event, he becomes a mute. Eirlys rescues Jive in time to save his life.
Lol, I painted a leafy background. The most frustrating 6 hours of this artwork, but I'm very satisfied with the results. It's hard to see the details of the alchemy circle surrounding the rose. It can be seen clearly if the picture is magnified though
.Btw I'm not starting new art trades at the moment.
Total time: About 15+ hours. Lost track... again.

Thankyou =3. The lines are 1 pixel so you'll have to be precise with them, lest they damage the overall appearence of the picture xD. It takes a bit of practice and concerntration but the end result is very rewarding.
lol, I'm not sure when I'll open art trades. School for me starts tomorrow so I'll just have to see how much my workload is before taking on new commitments.

I love thin lines, but I usually cheat but making them larger and then shrinking the whole image. xD

That's very cute. The bunny to the right, I believe its
white could've blended into the brown better. The bunny on the left doesn't really need as blend as its colors already match very well.

I was working with this picture of Eirlys as reference: [link] I understand what you're saying about a lack of blending. I think it's the strong contrast of the dark brown and white which makes it look strange. I'll ask the owner of this image if she would like the edges of Eirlys's "helmet" blurred. If you're reffering to the alchemy circle, I used the pen tool to draw a round circle and then stroke pathed to create a 1 pixel line. I then skewed the circle to an oval, repeated with a smaller circle and placed it inside the larger. After, I just scribbled some random runes in the spaces and lines around the ovals to lengthen and enhance the alchemy circle. Next was a soft pink outer glow. When drawing shapes as inorganic as that, you must make sure it's visually correct, or it can wreck your picture xD.

My GOD, this is gorgous, Sero! Your attention to detail never ceases to amaze me. I love how you shaded the lil' rabbits and just about everything else. XD The feeling of this picture is so calm and romantic. I love both Eirlys and Jives expressions, and the little alchemy circle added around the rose. ^^
I can see how the bg took 6 hours! The leaves and bubbles look so realistic, I could never do that! I also like the little add ons like the catterpillar and the lizard.
