New headcanon stuff! Now with more mental torture to a character I like!
A year has passed since the galaxy was restored. With Dominator gone and Hater's forces searching for another galaxy to take over, Wander and Sylvia's lives have been uneventful, despite helping others. That is, until a visit to a place called the Mage's Bazaar. There, Sylvia was offered a strange-looking staff that has the power to open portals to different places. Excited, Wander persuaded Sylvia to take the offer. Sylvia begrudgingly took the staff with her. She believed it was useless, until shortly after, Wander was attacked by some shadowy monsters and Sylvia managed to use the staff's power to rescue him. The two realized it was Sylvia's rage at the monsters that powered the staff, so they both agreed that Sylvia should be the only one to use it. Weeks passed. As the two continued to save others from a new threat, the shadow monsters, Sylvia began getting more and more exhausted. She was convinced the staff is draining her of energy, and that she was concerned of ever using it again. And then a great cataclysm happened. On one civilized planet that the duo visited, a glowing portal opened in the sky and began pulling the entire planet towards its center. Wander, determined to save everyone on the planet, tells Sylvia that she has to use the staff one last time. Sylvia summons a massive portal that manages to transport the planet to a safer place, but at a cost. Sylvia was even weaker than before. That night, she had a nightmare. An evil being known as the Pale Lady instructed Sylvia to revive her champion and kill Wander.
And now, Sylvia would be linked to this eldritch queen. She has no choice but to be her puppet.
For some weird reason, it's always the strong-willed characters I like mentally torturing in my headcanon. I guess to make it more interesting?
