Fun fact: he was the first major quest boss that I killed. Also, another fun fact: he posed the greatest threat to Nirn. Miraak and Alduin just wanted Lebensraum, and Harkon just wanted to avoid sunburn.

There also seems to be some kind of fashion, where his companion whether you can do, or something else. I now can not remember exactly.
