"I once promised to grant any one wish to those who managed to withstand my poison and stand before me. So tell me, what is your wish, young mage?" asked the dark figure in front of him. Marrius can't even see him cleary now. All his five senses are dulled by the poisonous gas that filled the entire cave. He's barely on his feet. Only rage and vengeance that prevents him from falling.

"Th...those filthy barbarians from the Warrior clan are running rampages in our land! I came here to ask for your aid! said Marrius.

"Then death shall be upon them, slowly... and painfully."
With that said, the poison mage flies across the cave leaving poor Marrius behind.

Marrius felt no regret trading his life for the safety of his homeland. Yet, as if reading Marrius's mind, the poison mage whispers, "One thing you should know though, young mage. Poison does not know friend or foe. If you manage to leave this place alive, you might be able to see your friends again, or maybe not."

The sound of his laughter then echoes in the cave, or maybe only in Marrius's head. He curses himself. He was so consumed by his rage, his hatred, and his vengeance towards the Warriors. What a terrible thing that he has unleashed upon this world!
