An alternative to the previous massive war art. I manage to do better with the front guy, but then everything behind him seems to not blend well. Sigh... maybe I have to remake everything behind him into a different theme too?
Any suggestion?

actually it is just some random splatter I add to make it more interesting.
Supposed to be water splashes, caused by multiple explosions, combined with the red from blood and fire.
