A lil' something for =mrsmazing for getting me a 3 month subscription
It's her adorable character Nova
Spent all afternoon working on it (like 6 hours
) - which is weird because it's like so small (like 5 in x 4 in), but it turned out REALLY nice...I wanted to practice a chibi-like work and this gave me a reason to...
**I'll probably start doing these for commissions or something ($5-6 maybe??) depending on how complex the character is...
But yeah I really love how it turned out (and of course the colors look much better on the original... the scanner ate the purple hues up like cookie monster so I had to adjust it which in turn screwed up the yellow
*le sigh* oh well.. it's still purtyful! I used prisma colored pencils and fine tip color sharpies

*Thinking aloud* Something that I've noticed in a lot of my art... I like making it look like a sticker with the white outlines n' all LOL <3 STICKERS!! As well as paint splatters (those yellow blob-like thingys in the background) xD
